Savages. The trailer made it out to be a way different movie than what it really was. Very disappointing in that aspect. It was tolerable otherwise.
Yeah, it's funny enough. It's not the funniest movie ever, but I thought it was worth watching.

Agreed. It's not Bridesmaids funny (not much is, IMO), but it had it's moments. It didn't piss me off that I had spent 90 minutes watching it.

Shark Week's coming up! Although they changed the week this year - it used to always fall during my family's vacation time. We'd always watch and then joke about how it was a really bad idea to watch Shark Week while you're on vacation at the beach...

Watched XMen Origins: Wolverine
This movie got me excited by the future of the X-Men series, that they could make a movie as good as the first two, until this expectation was dashed by X-Men First Class. It's hard to put my finger on what makes characters larger than life and endowed with a mysterious mutant quality. It's the actors and their conviction, the story, the direction, the music, and the editing all mixed together in a cauldron that sometimes results in magic.
