Last film you watched

I finally got around to watching No Country for Old Men. An interesting movie ... I was somewhat disappointed as I was hoping for more Tommy Lee Jones and the plot left me desiring but it was certainly unique. Truly a film villain who will be remembered though, I have to admit. Guy was spooky. Overall I would give it a 6 out of 10.

Thor; for the most part, was a pretty good movie. Not exactly what I thought it would be, but im looking forward to the new one coming out with Iron Man, Capt. America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and more, all in the same movie!

I enjoyed the movie as a whole, but the ending felt like a huge anti-climax.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The Warlords.

After Red Cliff (which I must have watched about 4 times now) - I went on a Chinese 'historical' epic binge. Got loads of movies and this was one of those (blu ray). It's set in the 19th century.

Started slow but gradually built up with lots of good battle scenes and character play. The movie had its moments that pulled at your heart strings (a few in fact) and was helped by some very good actors from other historical epics. Can't say too much without giving away the story but suffice to say it's worth a watch if you're into this type of movie.

It's no Red Cliff but definitely worth a watch.

Addendum: I was not impressed on a technical level by the encoding quality. It varied from brilliance (very rare) to mostly dvd/video quality.

Senna (extended version).

For anyone remotely interested in motor racing and Formula 1 in particular, this is a must see. Lots of behind the scenes that we'd normally not get to see and having watched it, it left me even more astonished at the accomplishments that Ayrton Senna achieved... and could potentially have achieved. :thumbup
