No, they did it with the Lion King, too. There's usually one show in the early afternoon that they run in 2D format. I guess it's probably for people like us who have a little kid who can't or won't do 3D. I really don't know how it would have been in 2D because it looked identical to the original, and there were some things that I could see being in 3D, but overall, I don't know that it would've been worth the extra money to see it that way.

I'm hoping that they continue to re-release movies to the theatre... like Aladdin and Alice In Wonderland.
