Just saw Girl with Dragon Tattoo. I think they told it about as good as this story can be told. I've read all 3 Girl books. I've described the first book as the thriller without the thrills. I was hoping that somehow Hollywood could turn this into a riveting movie, nope but it was better than the original Swedish movie. The rape scene was necessary, but uncomfortable to watch. I was hoping for a higher level of satisfaction when Lisbeth got her licks in. Evidence was added, but it did not come across as revelations (at least to me). The main plot, it's all most as if it laid there until suddenly the culprit was out in the open and then it was over in a flash. The ending for the main villain was unsatisfying. The end of the movie was ehh.
