The Earrings of Madame De... (French with English subtitles)

Synopsis: In the Paris of the early 20th century, Louise, wife of a general, sells the earrings his husband gave her: she needs money for a gambling debt. As the general should not know, during an opera, she acts as she had lost them. Which leads to some fuss...

A 100 rating on the tomatometer. Really a fun flick. Lots of twists and a fabulous set.

I only liked Lethal Weapon, and that is the first one

Brave Heart and Apocalypto were both excellent. I admit the negativity of an actor/director's personal life can intrude on my ability to enjoy their films.

Just watched Vicky Christina Barcelona, I found this to be an outstanding human comedy (but not comedy) and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned it was directed by Woody Allen. :)

Braveheart is only any good if you take it for what it is, a work of fiction and anti English propaganda. Shame too because the real story of William Wallace is far more interesting.

Admittedly I was shocked when Gibson came up with the tirade about the Jews

Watched The Ninth Gate with Johnny Depp yesterday. It was kind of slow, and a little boring at the beginning, but it got to be a little interesting. It was very predictable though.

Cool Hand Luke

Have watched it several times, one of my all time favorites.

Good movie.

Unstoppable- not great but a surprisingly good movie about a train that gets away from it's handlers. Enjoyable. Chris Pine played James T Kirk in the StarTrek reboot.
