Hattie - it's a drama about Hattie Jacques and her affair with a younger man as well as the weird way her husband, John Le Mesurier, of Dads Army fame, when he found out, continues to live in the house but moved into the atic while she was sharing the marital bed with her toy boy. When it came to a divorce he also named himself as the one having an affair to avoid any scandal for her. They also remained good friends and she encoraged his relationship with a new wonan. Very strange but compelling film.:thumbup

The Town- I'm puzzled why this movie got a high rating at IMBD. It just did not click for me. I had no sympathy with Ben Aflecks character. Jeremy Remmer who played a wild man in The Hurt Locker is once again playing a wild man but in case a decidedly meaner one in this movie. Hopefully he does not get type cast.

Starship Troopers (1997)- Despite being corny or campy (your choice), this movie has the best bug effects and outstanding CGI integration with the environment. The scene with what looks like thousands of bugs is incredible.

I just got back about an hour ago from seeing Red. It was my 2nd time seeing it but I was able to concentrate more this time since my brother wasn't beside me being harassed by his soon-to-be ex-wife, LOL Good flick!!!
