nope funnily enough, by coincidence even, after complaining on here that local vid store never had it, they only go and call me to tell me that they have a copy for me, so i rented it

i loved it, great film, although it reminds me how powerful and completely untapped the human mind is, and that scares me

I had not realised that the Book Shutter Island was written by the same guy (Dennis Lehane?) that wrote the original book for Mystic river which incidentally was a fantastic film, i may have to check out this guy's writing because both Mystic river and Shutter Island were wonderful

from memory it speaks to justice and how men can be quite barbaric in their pursuit of what they perceive to be justice

Another couple of good movies to check out...
The Crew - Absolutely hilarious comedy about retired mob men. MUST SEE.

Law Abiding Citizen - Gerard Butler plays an enraged father whose wife and daughter were raped and murdered in front of him. The rest of the movie ensues in is plot for revenge. REALLY GOOD MOVIE.

Just finished watching The Social Network. My friend hates facebook so forcing him to watch this movie was priceless.

I pulled up the original Beverly Hills Cop the other day on HBO on Demand.... forgot how funny that movie was.

Also just saw the A-Team... not bad... but I wouldnt necessarily put the word good with it either.
