300. Hated it the first time I watched it, but this time I appreciated it a bit more. It's still incredibley cheesey at times though.

It's pretty accurate historically as well, funny considering it's based on a comic. (OR graphic novel, whatever)

Back to the Future Parts I, II, and III on Sunday. First time I had watched them in a couple of years... pretty excited that they're coming out in Blu-Ray in the fall.

I watched them back to back the other day, very corny but seriously hilarious, some great lines in there, got to love Flea as Needles!:24:

Shutter Island. Not impressed.

are you old enough to watch R rated films? i don't want you to think shutter island is a true scorsese film. rent taxi driver, raging bull, or goodfellas, that's a scorsese film.

if you are bright kid, also give, after hours, a look.

I like Owen Wilson. The comic actor I can't stand is Jim Carrey. The only thing he's done that I liked was The Truman Show.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Please tell me you have not seen Ave Ventura, Pet Detective and Dumb and Dumber! Pure comic genius!! That would be better than you seeing these and not liking him! :)

It's sad when you discover a comedic actor is just a sad sack in real life. But that is my impression of most comedians. I like Wilson in easy going humorous rolls like Wedding Crashers, a fun story with some exposed breasts, and not too much of Will Farrel, always a plus in my book. :)

Sherlock Holmes.

It was ok and I liked the style of the movie but I hated Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock. He just... didn't... fit. The style of the movie could have been kept with someone like Daniel Craig who proved you can re-invent a role.

On the positive side, I liked the hints of Professor Moriarty. Hope whomever is cast for that for the next movie will be good. Guess there's no hope of Downey Jr being replaced... :(
