They started this thing with a 'hometown rewards' program. everytime you buy something inside or get gas you get 'points' back, which can be redeemed for a cash receipt. You can then use this cash receipt to buy things inside.
Ok. So I have a 1.20 receipt and I wanted a dr pepper. I went in and asked if I could use it and get the change back. nope. They don't give the 50 cents back in change.
What?
So I have to buy 1.20 or more to redeem the ticket. What sense does that make? They're taking the loss on profit of the products in the first place, but they can't give 50 fucking cents back that I'd just end up buying another DP with there anyway?
Whoever wrote that rule is fucking retarded and I'd like to run them over with brians truck.
