I've one problem with your laptop...it's not purple. :ninja :D

Well, Dell for sure do a variety of colours on the pristine none outlet site, whether they do purple is another matter :D

This reminds me of my purple carpet jumper - bit tight round the neck these days.

This thread has actually helped me a lot too. Thanks guys!!

I personally have an HP right now, and I'm really getting into gaming. I'm making sure to take better care of this computer than my old ones.. I tend to get viruses, cuz I didn't know what I was doing haha

I'm such a girl! :p

There's a Studio 15 that is growing on me. It has the Intel Core i3 processor, 6GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. We'll see... As for extras...forget those. I have no use for them. :p I'll probably get an external hard drive, though.

You remember my ramble about Costco's having laptops.. I was looking at a Dell the other day.. In fact I seen these ones on their web site and was pretty sure they have them in stock.. Not sure how that translate for warantee and cost savings but they claim you can save a bundle..

Hmm, that translates to about just over 700 quid which on the surface seems ok but I thought I'd look to dell.co.uk to compare (the full store, not dell outlet where I got mine from).

Looking at an equivalent 15 inch, same memory, hard drive, processor - it actually comes out cheaper on dell.co.uk plus you get Ati graphics instead of the Intel onboard ones. So unfortunately not quite as good as that deal may have first seemed. :(

Still, I've found that with costco - at least in the store. I still keep my membership as it is definitely good for some stuff but always worth comparing elsewhere to see if you're really getting as good a deal as you'd like.

Personally, I do use it for food shop for time to time amongst other things whilst just checking in on prices for other stuff in case of a bargain.

My seller (also a friend) recommend 'Fujitsu'

I am using it for about five months works really fine for me. It is quick and I can run many applications (I am not using games), it is not very costly.

G!
