When we worked with bondsmen, it was up to the discretion of the owners as to what the percentages would be, and a lot of them based it upon income and probability of repayment. Not to mention, the more parties you supply information for (this is so they can locate you, should you jump bail), the less you'll have to pay up front, especially if said individuals sign promissory notes making certain someone pays.
And let's not forget...you can even bargain the prices at Wal-Mart with their managers, so you can pretty much do it with anyone.
