I don't think it's wierd. I've been to the body worlds show and seen all the dead bodies and it was fucking amazing. Especially the dead pregnant woman. It's mainly all men though becuase they are easier to preserve and the fingernails and hair is still on the body even though there is no skin.

I wanted the dead giraffe personally. It was AMAZING.

Well she has to do some shock, attention seeking thing to draw attention away from her boring, second rate music.
Now, see, I have to disagree. If you just listen to her CDs w/o seeing her and watching her performances she actually has a very good voice. My mother even LOVES one of her songs. :)

I think the guy's initial reason was for educational purposes. I think she's trying to take something innocent and enlightening and turn it into a freak show. Personally, if I had donated my body for science and then found out that's what it was being used for, I'd haunt the shit out of her and the guy I donated myself to!

It is very educational. Like there were loads of lungs showing various diseases, from lung cancer to TB. And when you first walk in, all you see is baby featuses from weeks into the pregnancy to an actual newborn baby and the pregnant woman with her stomach cut in half to show the baby inside which was incredible because I never really thought of how everything inside me changed when I was pregnant and it was amazing to see. It was so educational becuase the featuses were accompanied with facts and pointed out what had just developed with the featus and how they differed from the one before it.
To be honest, that was the only bit that was a bit uncomfortable becuase you are in a room with a load of dead babies and the pregnant woman was the most uncomfortable becuase, fascinating as it was, I just couldn't help wondering how she died and I felt sorry for the people who lost her and the baby.

The other corpses were arranged into different poses, like playing basketball or sitting down painting, to show you how the different muscles move to do different actions and there were close ups of muscles and videos of people doing those actions to draw your attention to the muscles and actions.

I might go again in the future. If I remember rightly, the doctor that does this, is the same one who did the live autopsy show on Channel 4.
