With all due respect that is IMO based on my life experiences is bullshit

That list is what gets ones foot in the door. Unless one is the type to kick the door down there is little chance to erase those preferences from the list.

Jim has only one things that like in a guy.. He makes me laugh.. but of late he makes me want to kill him just as much as he makes me laugh..

IMO lists are a starting place and with some of us they don't even count if we find something in someone else that we like even if they are all wrong for us.

Just my two cents Bill.. If you don't agree.. then you don't agree. :p

Zorak ticks all the boxes on my list.

To be honest I'd deviate a bit from my list. I could date a guy about my height 5'4" but other things like reading, making me laugh and being intelligent, I need to have.

I once dumped a guy after he told me he'd never finished a book. WTF. I couldn't deal with that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I can understand that people don't always have time to read or aren't in the mood for books (I go through periods when I don't feel like reading at all) but to never ever finish a book? I just find that utterly wierd. And as books are such a major thing in my life; I greatly enjoying discussing them and I'd want to share my passion for books with someone who can appreciate what I'm saying and to add to it.

Even the genre of book doesn't matter. I'm open to anything.

Jim and I are both big readers.. here.. my reading runs mostly fluff but he's into heavy shit.. but if so we still find common ground on books.. it's one of the things that we agree on and find important. And it's also a great go to gift for both of us :D

Zorak's a literature student so I get to read all sorts of cool books.

Really started to develop a passion for pre-20th century literature lately.

what is the big deal about reading books?

In my adult like you can count on both hands the number of books I have read.

Couple of Ayn Rand. Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead. Great reads if you are not a liberal :D

One on a true story of a Mexican prison break by a guy railroaded. Charles Bronson did a movie

Murder in Greenwich by Mark Furman. Yes that Furman. It was a great book.

I have ADHD. I have trouble concentrating to read books. Always was that way. I could read half a page of print and not have a clue what I read. Only found out a year ago I had ADHD. Anyway it takes a pretty interesting book for me to want to read it. If I start and find it interesting I won't put it down.
