Usually the man will give gifts such as roses to her.
Is it proper doing the reverse ?
Should a woman bring roses, candy and other gifts to a man ?
How about proposals ?

I can only speak from experience in my part of the world where it's not quite customary for the lady to give to the man, at least until they've been going together for a while.

However, this is a new age where it seems that it shouldn't be all that unusual for the lady to give the man something nice.

I'd feel silly buying flowers for a man! Unless it was for his funeral.

As for candy or other gifts.... Why not? I've done that.

As for proposing marriage.... That's a man's prerogative IMO.
As for proposing other things.... like a date or sex.... Why not? :D

I have received delivered gift from my wife on a few occasions. Really a surprise since that is not the norm. Today is a different society so if the woman takes the lead in some things I think it is fine. Not sure most guys would appreciate flowers though.

I agree w/Fred, flower seem a very odd choice to give a man. After I know a guy, if I see something he might like, I might impulsively buy it, like if he's into a sports team or some such thing.

But that's after I know him.

My boyfriend of over 4½ years has never given me flowers.

I bought him chocolates and he just fed them to me. So I'm not buying flowers that he'll just turn around and give to me.

I like buying things for my boyfriend, but he wouldn't want flowers so I wouldn't get them. If a woman doesn't like flowers, same rules apply. I would much rather he propose to me, though, just my preference.

Oh lol, my boyfriend's version of flowers (we are long distance) is Babybel light cheese and dog bones for my pomeranian. He likes getting me little gifts before I go home from visiting, and it's usually the cheese and bones. I love them :)

Zorak normally does something like buying me Dinner (he bought me lunch today) or something I'd really appreciate. Like expensive out of print books.

I'll buy little things when I'm out running errands- a candy bar, a drink, something similarly little. Probably because I'd prefer something small more often over something big once a year. Besides, it shows that you randomly thinking of the other person.

If a girl was to buy be roses and/ or chocolates, she can fuck right off. She should know what I like. Buy me a pint and give me a blowjob. :thumbup
