Darn things took off pretty fast..as well as dozens of small locust in difficult access areas in the last several days.They left me no choice but to spray em...no rain please for a couple days.

I know it sounds odd, but when I applied for a state license to use restricted weed killers when I was farming, the terminology was 'pesticides' for vegetation and included pests, mostly insects.

Pesticide includes insecticides and herbicides,,so its just a catch all
I was trying to find out from porter if just herbicides were banned or pesticides...which means he couldnt even use raid on roaches or kill the fungus in the tub lol

I mixed up some epsom salts and vinegar with dawn dish soap and sprayed the bee yard and some dandelions in the garden. It did a pretty good job but for the main pasture fence I will go back to roundup and diesel. One time lasts the whole summer.

I had a pool setup for a few months and just took it down
the grass smelled like manure but now half my yard is dead.
as far as weeds growing I'm not really sure if there IS any grass in my lawn
I'm in a temporary living place so I could care less
I will probably plow up the entire yard at my new permanent place when ever that is

I frequently use 2 4 D plus roundup.

I got the pronto big n tuf I thinks its called...41 percent concentrate of the same chemical[glyphosate] as roundup...25 dollars for one gallon.
Makes about 20 gallons of "roundup"...with a finish solution of 2 percent glyphosate
.

Canada has alot of environment type laws...not a bad thing...but not letting you kill weeds is a bit much
