Likely, humankind would have created accepted Ethics for societies, and with luck instituted them succesfully in general. As it is the "Morals" implimented within organized religions have been of limited success to be kind. Between the sexual abuse of Catholisism, Morman political corruption, Muslim swaths of death, and Christian money makers.....it would seem these morals are paid very little heed by those who claim to know them.

If these things are the direction some great entity in the sky wishes us to go...They can have it, I'll just stick to my own ethics and actually try to be a good person.
