Ugh...finally got the Solicitor's Office only to be told "you need to call the judge's office." Apparently they're in court...so now I wait for a call back.

Waiting patiently is NOT my strong suite...IJS

So I *finally* get a call back from the judge's office and get told "you need to call the Solicitor's Office." *facepalm* Finally got the Chief Assistant Solicitor on the phone...he says he will make his case w/o me. So yayyyyyyyyyyyy...my plane tickets are NOT useless!!! Thanks for all the finger crossing, guys!!!

The downtown harbor area is great with all the history within a reasonable distance

You've never been to NYC even though you grew up so close by??? MADNESS!!! You should definitely visit there soon. I love it...I would move there if I had the vaginal fortitude to pick up and leave my entire family.
