I couldn't believe it when they said on the West Ham game that United hadn't won the FA cup in nine years was pretty shocked. I thought it was only about 5 or 6 years.

It's third priority and it shows. It'd be nice to win it again but not at the expense of the Champions League or the League.

Yeah true you could see it in Fergie's face when they asked him the question trying to dodge it saying some of the lads want it on their CV although a replay should be ok for you guys so long as Fergie keeps rotating the squad.

It's inbetween the Liverpool/Spurs games so I can see some rotation. It probably won't be that different from yesterday's game. The FA Cup has lost a lot over the years. It used to be a game at the end of the season, now it's just a game on a Premier League weekend. Even the semi finals are at Wembley, so that appeal is removed.

Yeah it's more like a cup for the lower divisions more than anything else just helps to win it when ya ain't won nothing else. I must admit i do like to see the giant kills you can see the others teams want it more in most of the games that and it's a trip out and a nice payday. It is shame though cause of all the history that's behind it.

The romance of the FA Cup was killed by the scheduling mostly. Like I said earlier, they play the FA Cup final on a Premier League weekend. And they play the semi finals at Wembley to make more money. Smaller clubs aren't winning the cup these days either because they simply aren't good enough or that they rotate their teams because they see the league as a bigger priority. And because cheating racists like Luis Suarez exist.
