I'm jealous skyblue--but you probably had to take out a mortgage on your house for that, didn't ya?

Concert tickets have become ridiculously expensive--I took my girls to see Green Day in San Diego and that set me back about $400 on the tickets lone--absolutely great concert though--the best I've seen and I've seen a lot--worth every penny of it.

Vixen--I also saw Pearl Jam at the Mack in Vegas--it was great because it was open seating so got there early and got some good seats. Nice place for a concert because its so small.

in dollars......nearly 150 each........going with my sister

Mulder, The Mack is a great place to see a concert. However It's been quite awhile since you been to Vegas I take it? There is a great venue at the Palms called "The Pearl". It's like you are in your own living room, small, quaint and cozy. It friggin rocks!

I thought the same thing. I think Vegas has her a little crush. :D

It was completely innocent. ;)

Sure it was. Hey, try selling that to someone who's buying it, Vegas!!! LOL

Evan are we talking about the Thompson Twins?

Ooh, burnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

You said the song "Lay your hands on me"

The Thompson Twins had a song by that name dork....Of course you were probably 5:24:

Really??? That's funny b/c, ya know, Bon Jovi has a song by the same name. WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!! Wait...I thought nerds were supposed to be smart. :p

They ARE getting way expensive!!! I saw Tom Petty in concert back in 1995 or so for $15. Now it costs me that or more just to see my favorite band (local boy does good story ;) ) who just now got signed to a record label.

When I went to the Summer Sanitarium Tour (Metallica, Kid Rock, Korn, Powerman 5000, and System of a Down) back in 1999 the tickets were $80 or so.
