I'd argue that being Christian means you believe that Christ is the son of God. Although I could understand the view that you merely just have to follow the teachings and life of Christ. That's different from Islam where he is merely a prophet, and Judaism where he is a fraud.

So being a Jehova's witness probably means you are indeed not a Christian, because they worship Jehova, or God. Not Christ in any form.

Being a Christian dosen't mean you have to worship Christ, it just means you have to believe in him and follow what you percieve are his teachings. Jehovahs Witnesses do that so therefore are Christians.

1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.

So are Muslims Christians also then? They follow Christ's teachings.

No, not that there's anything wrong with being Muslim, but they are not Christians. Christian comes from the word christ which means the savior of humans. A Christian is someone who believes Jesus is our savior. Jehovah's Witnesses believe this but Muslims do not. Muslims believe Jesus was just God's prophet.

Jehovah's Witnesses consider themselves to be Christians. However, many Christians do not consider them to be "real" Christians. Of course, many Christians think most Christians are not "real". Personally I think it's funny. They can't even get along with themselves.
