i guess i just have the emotions of a rock cuz when i was at a bar and my friend got in a fight a guy pulled a gun on him and like an idiot i jumped in to try and get my friend behind some cars...but that night i slept fine...same when i got robbed and the bastard who did it was just a lil faster then me. I was pissed for awhile but wasn't scared about getting robbed again cuz at least i was able to punch the kid like 3 times before he got up and ran.

but I know i'm new here and not known...but i'm still glad to hear your alright...you had some courage calling for security in that situation. Take all the time you need to get over it cuz not everybody handles these things the same.

yeah and guy..don't try and make this to be a racial thing...i would have said the same thing...same as if they were white or anything else...quit looking for a reason to argue.

i feel for you amy in this situation. i used to work at a grocery store and saw people steal stuff all the time but i never said anything b/c i dont want to start trouble. we had security cameras, but 90% of the time we let them steal because they would only steal about 20 dollars worth of stuff. thinking that it would be an easy target, they would come back again and we could bust them for a felony...

what i am getting at is that you standing up for yourself will make these people not target you because you seem less vulnerable to the situation than a non street smart person would be. i am happy your are okay, and hopefully this thing wont happen again

Glad you joined here and I think you will become well liked real quick. You seem like a really cool person. And thank you for your concern. I really appreciate that. This forum has got some really great people on it. I have found myself getting attached to quite a few people on here.

In fact, thank you to everybody who has been so nice and concerned. I dont care what anyone else says about all you people on here, I like yall.

But i highly dout you whould have said white person.... That is a charcteristic also. If they were white would they have been as scarey? Im just saying...things like that could afend someone.

Yes. I'm sure she would have said three white men. As I said it's one of the easiest features to ascertain about an assailant.

IMO there really isn't a good debate in this at all... You'll start to get to know us all better once you've been around for a while, and you'll understand why I personally believe she would describe them using a caucasion color had then been caucasion assholes.

Oh yay, let me say my peice...

1st of all, the fact she is fine is the best news. I cant begin to imagine what kind of advice I would give someone about coping with this mentally, but just to say, hang in there.

About the mention of a race - I believe that would be typical of someone who is not the same race as those who approached her. If SHE were black, she would likely NOT have mentioned their race. I think primarily because it distinguishes them as being different. It could also be so she could paint a better picture of her situation.

The last thing I would assume is that it was a racial thing. The fact here is, there have been occurances in our past where if a black person was approached by 3 white people, he'd be in fear just the same, because they are different, and race would probably be the first identifying trait mentioned.

Glad you're ok, babe. Keep your wits about you, and pray thanks on God for giving you the instincts to do what you did. That was very brave of you. I commend you for showing such courage in such an extremely trying situation.

PS. for those courious folk - I am of mixed origin, my appearance is different from all nationalities. I stand out like a sore thumb And I have had to live in several different areas where the majority was different.

Someone tried to kill me, all I can say is self-defence. It was a hitman and I was the wrong target. i didnt get any nightmares, but good ones. The hitman was a female, and seeing her in action was amazing. Still have dreams about that encounter.


And no I couldn’t see if she was black, or pink. And yes I would post that the hitman was a male. But I don’t think I would be amused by a male.
