Those assholes are out in the parking lot jamming out again.

It's damn near midnight. I'm not taking it anymore.

I'm calling the cops. But surely I don't call 911? Help, anyone?

Yes, I'm a bitch. I know that. I don't care. I just want to know how to do this.

The guy drove off. At least for now. I just HAD to try to find the laws to make sure I wasn't in the wrong. But they're damn near impossible to find.

Get this- HE DOESN'T EVEN LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

None of the loud peeps in the lot that drive me crazy do. What kind of fucking bull shit is that.

I reckon if I lived over there I;d be shot.:willy_nilly:

I would've already stuck my head out the window and told them to shut the fuck up, and piss the fuck off.:mad

If Matt wasn't home, I likely would have marched out there and given them a piece of my mind, scary looking big dudes or not.

Ok, so, no, I'm NOT trying to sleep, but that's beside the point. I shouldn't EVER have to listen to anyone else's music.

I found the rules and apparently the noise limit is 55 db between 10 PM and 7 AM and 65 db during the other hours. The rules also came with the number of an organization that exists solely to deal with noise complaints, but their website is nonexistent so I'll likely call the cops when it happens again.

I'm just so sick of being passive and just dealing with shit. I'm tired of being uncomfortable and having to put up with shit while going out of my way to make sure I don't make anyone aware of my presence in this building or complex. I'm just completely fed up with it. The office thinks they've seen enough of me... (they do all know my face and name...) but just you wait. I am paying more than enough to live here and damnit, I have some expectations and there are some things I will not allow to have happen.

Are these people visiting some one who lives there? Because the office should figure this out and tell them something.

I live in a neighborhood, but sometimes I wish I lived in a complex so I could call the office and tell them to fuss at the neighbors.

I have taken to chasing my neighbor's pack of chihuahuas down the street at ANY TIME when I see them in my yard. That includes at 2AM when I am in my nightgown. So if yall see a crazy woman running down the street half naked after chihuahuas yelling "Go home Peanut!" then you know it's me...

I'm totally with you! I was sitting here in my robe the other day and told Matt I was going to go put curlers in my hair just so I could go out and scream at the noisy people like a crazy woman.

There are perks to having an office, but having worked at one, I know what goes on behind closed doors, and I do NOT want to be *that* person.

I understand your frustration, completely. However, good luck with having the Management take care of the problem. They may be able to deal with this one situation, but, there's no way that they can assure you it won't happen in the future with someone else. There are too many disrespectful people in this world for Management to keep up with noise pollution. It's all about everyone thinking "it's their right" to do whatever they want.

I know it's too hard for them to be on top of it all the time. They don't have enough staff for that.

One of the things that really gets me is that these people are generally out doing maintenance on their cars, which is in violation of the lease. But no one enforces it. No one enforces anything except the rent-a-cops who fuss at residents for sitting on the building stairs after 10PM. Oh, I can stand right in front of the building no problem. But if I'm sitting on them, I get told to move. WTF?

Take pictures of the one's who are in violation... send the pictures to the Office and the Corporate Office. It might help, and it might not, but, what it will do is help your cause.

Hotty, I too would be pissed off! Sometimes one of our tenants starts hollaring, they are drunk a lot, and I go over and tell them to shut up! I am the crazy landlady. But hell they pay on time and except for their hollaring sometimes they aren't bad neighbors. And with Joe saying he is FINALLY going to get the back two months rent from one tennant or they're out, I don't want another vacancy. That is if we CAN get them out, it takes an act of Congress!
