Ive got some sad news from Veronica today

not much more news, V is a very strong woman thats all I can say if I had half of her strength Id be fortunate.

Yeah, she is very strong. With shit dealt to many of us, we have to be strong, no choice but to just deal with things. This however, is worse than many things, to have to deal with.

I am sure she will get by, but that is just so mind-blowing the way it happened.

So, I hope her mum is stable and recovers speedily. I am still very shocked by this news.

Thanks everyone. We just got to my house (its 5am). we have to be back at the hospital by 9am (but have to wake up around 7 to handle some details.)

The good news is they know what happened. I will let yall know more when they release everything to the public. However... one of the kids that were in the house is the one that shot my mother in the head while she was sleeping.

My mother is in recovery right now after her first surgery. She will have several more as the days come. They are waiting on a room in ICU.

Thanks for all the prayers and keep them coming because she will need them. She has lost her eye and right now part of her face bones are gone. They will be doing lots of surgerys to fix some things.

Merciful Father, we approach you today for Veronica’s mother and family. It’s hard for us to understand how these things happen and why, but I wanted to say thank You for keeping her alive.

Through the pain and suffering, please remind us of the good that can come of these trials, and keep us aware that though life was altered, it was also preserved.

I pray for a speedy recovery of the body and spirit. Please hold up this family which has touched so many of our lives and no doubt countless others.

What a tower of strength you and your mum are.

You must be helping her get through this by being the loving person you are.

Thanks again everyone. Me and my sister Lani was able to leave the hospital tonight and get some rest (as long as the phone stops ringing. lol). My other two sisters are staying the night with her. Tomorrow will be a very big day for her and she will need your prayers the most. They will be doing several surgeries on her face. She laughed alittle today. It was the cutest thing. I never realized how good a laugh would sound. She knows about everything that happened and who did it. She is having a hard time dealing with everything at this time. Again, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. All these prayers must be really working. We have an angel watching over her.
