i'm wearing green eye shadow...but i put it on b/c it was already out and i didn't realize right away that it was pattys day. not much of a big holiday for me since i don't go out drinking.

I painted my nails green and wore a green shirt that says Get Lucky.

I also stopped and shared a pitcher of green beer with a friend...yay for beer.

Oh is that why I kept getting pinched while out to the bar last night cause I wasnt wearing green??

in North America it is an excuse to drink and party, nothing worng with that

it is not a celbration of Ireland or Irish culture, in fact if all you think of the Irish is that they wear green, drink and eat potatoe stew you are basically insulting them IMHO

i know it is just a bit of fun, but has anyone ever heard of James Joyce let alone read him

Guess the Irish are very insulted by all the non Irish celebrating St Paddy's day then.
I just personally get annoyed at the amount of my fellow countrymen and women who are mad for St Paddy's day but then dont even bother with St George's day.

James Joyce is a great author, Dubliners is one of my favorite books.
