Thanks Pony.
This am I woke up all excited to spend the day with my friend Jenny. I called her at 8 am. She called me back around 930 to tell me she couldnt hang out. We had plans all week for this. Oh well, right?
around 9 dad comes and gets the bike.
10 am the phone rings and its my dad saying the bike fell over. he's all choked up because he knows how much I love that thing....
1015 I get a call from my good friend Dave. We rescued a stray cat this week. I stopped over last night with tons of stuff for it. His family decided to keep it. We were all really excited. It ran away last night and we were up until it came back home at 11. He took it to the vet this am to get it fixed and get its shots. Turns out it had feline leukemia and Dave had to put it down. His 3 year old son is a wreck. It was his first pet and he only got to have it for a few days. Someone must have found out it had it and put it out on the street.
Got another call from my dad asking when I was coming over to look at the damage and work on it... I sucked it up and went over there, and brought him lunch. little scratch on the bike... no big deal. Then we look a bit closer. Exhaust is gouged, turn signal broken. Then we start backing it out of the trailer and the brake rotors are bent, and the brake fluid that I just flushed out and refilled got air in the lines. So the rear brake is locked up and the front is non--existant. I parked it in the garage and pulled the tank off it and it gouged bad on a metal bracket again......
i just walked away. I have had enough for one person in a day...
