Qatar?!?!?!? Smaller than Wales, yet able to host a World Cup tournament? What gives?

its a complete and utter disgrace,will blatter and his french cohort platini stop at nothing in they're dis-like of the english?....we had the best bid by far,ours was all about developing the game in third world countries,russias was all about russia...and qatar?.....behave.....blatter is corrupt in a big way....he's been bought....the world cups now going to a country ran by mafias,where corruption is rife,where violence is part of everyday life,and racism rules the day...i wouldn't be surprised if supporters actually die during that tournament,considering the hooligan problem over there.

The bids should have gone to England and the USA. Russia and Qatar are absolutely ridiculous picks. Neither one of those nations even had teams in the last World Cup. Qatar hasn't ever even qualified for a World Cup. They were given a 70% ranking for profitability while the United States was at 100%. Qatar doesn't even have any stadiums... the United States has enough stadiums in some states to be able to host the tournament. Our stadiums are some of the most well known and/or high tech stadiums in the world.
