It'll sound weird.

"Old Trafford, this is the Barclays Premier league, will you please welcome BURNLEY and The Barclays Premier League Champions...MANCHESTER UNITED!"

But....It's going to happen. Burnley beat Sheffield United 1-0 in the Championship Play Off final this afternoon. A Wade Elliot goal sent them to the promised land.

I don't think they have a hope in hell of staying up like, but it'll be interesting.

They had players with Premier league experience though. Nick Barmby, Dean Windass and Dean Marney.

Burnley can stay up with two things. Premiership experienced players (not having that gets you no where, look at Derby, Wolves etc) and more than one gameplan.

burnley can play decent football,i think they might do better than people think.......who'd have thought for instance that they had a hope in hell against spurs when going into the 2nd leg they were 4 - 1 down.....yet after 90 minutes they were 3 - 0 up

and that gudjonsson they have looks a real live wire in midfield,he alone might cause teams problems

Negligible. Barmby has played but Windass really didn't and to call Marney a player with Premier League experience is like saying I know a fair bit of American Politics because I watched Conan!
