It just hit me....

Its just over 2 weeks until my eldest daughter boards a plane bound for Europe (Switzerland) for an indefinite "holiday".

WHat if she doesnt come back? What if she meets someone, or loves it, or gets a job, or.....:willy_nilly:

I am so excited for her...but I will miss her SO much.

I've never gone more than a month without seeing my girls.

My daughter is getting on a plane the day after Christmas for a week in England. I know when she will return but I am still worried sick.

We will attend the annual "Coffs Cup Race day" together on the 4th, then she flies out on the 9th.

SHE says she will be back in time for her birthday and The Melbourne Cup in Nov. I sure hope so.


If I didnt have the boy, I would've been on the plane with her too.

:thumbup Having 2 big sisters, and a 12 year gap in between....he was bound to get that nic.

The girls' dad lives there with his Swiss wife. They (daughter and stepmum) have already planned various trips to places like Turkey, Amstedam and morocco.

She (wife) speaks 5 languages and has travelled broadly, so I know she's in good hands.

I am just a tad jealous too. I never got to "Do Europe"...I moved North instead
