With my loan I paid off a few of my bills

Good Neighbor VISA, Balance: $0.00
Capital One VISA, Balance: +$51.96

In three years I'll be completely debt free. My car only has $9,290 to go and my consolidation loan is gonna be easy to pay off.

I'm going back and forth on the house though. I wanna get my car paid off, but at the same time I COULD afford it and a mortgage, but I don't know. I'm tired of renting, especially with my roommate, but it's cheaper.

Houses do not get Cheaper, If you can do it now, Then now is the best time to do it,

Sometimes they do if they sit on the market long enough. But around here, now is the time to buy. But yes I agree, in general houses will only get worth more.

And good for you James. I can't wait until the day I can say I'm almost debt free. Although with college loans, that may be a while.

You are Correct Ouz, I was thinking more in term of the overall Market. It would be better to buy now then wait 3 years.

Yes and no. Just depends on the market. Also the older a home gets, it can decrease in value because of run down appliances, water damage, yadda yadda. Only problem is I don't have 500 to spend on an inspector with every house I wanna look at. The house I did find for 82,500 is fairly expensive for that property in that neighborhood. I think I'm gonna look up north a little bit. My buddies house which is slightly smaller was 74,000+/-.

But, I still have 3 months prior to this lease resigning. I'm half tempted to move the fuck back into my parents to not have to room with matt again. LOL

If it comes down to it though, I will resign with him... with circumstances.

All bills including rent will be split half way. I gave him a break by saying I'd pay half cable and the electric. But when it comes to turning shit off, he lags. When it comes to understanding that I pay rent + 53.00 + 2.95 + The electric bill amount (which by the way is 120.xx...)

*sighs*

I will say this though, the electric being so high isn't his fault (in its entirety) the large picture window in the living room? Yeah it might as well be plastic stapled to the sills. You can feel the wind on my couch (the one with the lego blanket on if you saw the pictures).

real estate will always, in the longer run of things, get more expensive. just because the land area says the same, verses the amount of people competeing for the land increasing. .. like city simulation games..

Things are crazy in California. Between my wife and I, we're making about six figures, and we can't get into a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house. We could get a condo, but why would I want to live in a $350,000 condo?

I heard the cost of living down there is crazy.
