Is yours real????????????

its all about how you care for a real tree

this is a copy and paste by the way

Leave the tree outside or in a cold garage until you're ready to decorate it - keeping in mind that a pine tree can stay inside only for about ten days.

Clean your tree before you bring it inside - brush off dead needles and spider webs and wipe off dust.

Place the tree in its pot on an impermeable shield - a plastic saucer like those you use for houseplants works well - to protect your floor, carpet, or table top.

Position the tree so that it's not over a heating vent. If it absolutely has to be over a vent, close the vent for the duration of the tree's stay inside. Don't put it right up against a window where it's going to get direct hot sun, or right in front of a fireplace or woodstove that's in use.

Check the soil daily for dryness - it should stay damp but not wet, and it will need more water inside than it needs outside.

Unplug the lights at night and whenever you leave the house

Try not to overheat the tree's room

If you can do it without ruining your ornaments, misting the tree every few days will help it out.

No matter what kind of care you take, any tree will dry out eventually and begin to drop its needles. If your tree looks very unhappy, put it back outside.

I have only had two real Christmas Trees. This year's Christmas Tree is artificial. About 6'6" tall.

This is the third year for this one. It's easy to put together and take down to store too.

fake and prelit is the only way to go! LoL

dont care for real ones. they're a hassle, AND someone i know got one last year and little did they know....it was infested with SPIDER EGGS!! :eek

ive also heard of people getting ticks and other things from real trees. NO THANK YOU!!

i think one of these years im gonna go against the grain and buy one of those white ones. I'm edgy funky and hip like that
I saw a black one at Walmart the other day. I think it came pre-lit with red lights. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I'd buy it except I already don't have room for the fake tree I keep at my parents' place (they hate me 'cause I use them as a storage unit :ninja)

I prefer a real Christmas tree cuz I love the smell of pine in the house and I know how to use a vacuum cleaner to get the needles up off the floor. :p
Couldn't agree with you more. I just set up ours a couple of hours ago and the whole apartment is spreading the scent of pine....mmmmm! As far as disposal, ours usually goes to a place where they use a chipper-shredder and use the ground up bark for mulch. Not much hassle and so much reward!

No, it's not a joke. It's not a word used here.
It's a character in a Christmas Carol by Charles dickens... LMAO... I'd figure with Australias strong ties with Britain you all would know such a story. Scrooge is the main character and Antagonist. Being a scrooge is being someone who doesn't get into the Christmas spirit or tradition.

Mine is a fibre optic xmas tree, though I normally go for the real deal, though I feel guilty that I buy a real thing, because it has to be hacked down just for xmas
I have a fiber optic tree too
