Throughout history, wars have been fought in the name of justice, survival, and ideology. Some argue war is a necessary evil, while others believe peace should always be pursued. Do you think war can ever be morally justified? What alternatives could replace war in resolving conflicts?

War is just like violence. I don't think there's any justifications for such. it is better to sort things out peacefully than resort to wanton destruction and war

Sometimes wars can be justified. For instance, the Allied Force had to go into war to stop Hitler.

War is a more complex issue than it seems, because in itself there are no good and bad, it is just two or more countries fighting for what they believe is fair, but in my opinion it is stupid, because more innocent people die than anything else and in the end not much is resolved, let's say based on war, it is a very stupid evil, all because of a fight between those in power, but anyway

War is rarely justified, as it leads to immense loss and suffering. However, some argue it may be necessary in cases of self-defense, protecting human rights, or preventing greater harm. Ultimately, diplomacy should always be the priority.

it is not for me but according to some people, war can be morally justified if it aims to defend a righteous and just world

War might seem morally justified when it’s fought for defense or to stop atrocities, but it still comes with immense human suffering. True justice lies in exhausting every peaceful option first, diplomacy, mediation, and economic cooperation, before resorting to violence.

In Hinduism, there is also a concept called Just war (Dharma Yuddha in Sanskrit). This idea was theorized by Lord Krishna.

There are people how are defending their countries and others wants to add the country to their list, this what happens generally between two countries in general, either was the war name.

If countries are torturing their people. then I think it's justified.

If a country kills its protestors, uses chemical warfare on its own people, or unjustly keeps food and common survival items from those within the country, then I think it's injustice for countries to not step in and wage war against those who do these horrific things against their people.

To me, that's the only justification.

That and of course any country that detonates a nuclear weapon because if they do, they threaten all of mankind and at that point, that leader should no longer exist.
