Is War Ever Justified?

Throughout history, wars have been fought in the name of justice, survival, and ideology. Some argue war is a necessary evil, while others believe peace should always be pursued. Do you think war can ever be morally justified? What alternatives could replace war in resolving conflicts?

War is just like violence. I don't think there's any justifications for such. it is better to sort things out peacefully than resort to wanton destruction and war

Sometimes wars can be justified. For instance, the Allied Force had to go into war to stop Hitler.

War is a more complex issue than it seems, because in itself there are no good and bad, it is just two or more countries fighting for what they believe is fair, but in my opinion it is stupid, because more innocent people die than anything else and in the end not much is resolved, let's say based on war, it is a very stupid evil, all because of a fight between those in power, but anyway
