Is too much love toxic? Yes, love can be too much for someone if it becomes overwhelming, suffocating, or unhealthy.
When you love someone, have respect and give her or him space to evaluate his or her feelings. When love is excessive
or expressed in a way that disregards the other person's boundaries and needs, it can be distressing.

I think it depends on how that overwhelming love is manifesting and if it is negatively affecting either of the parties. As soon as it starts negatively affecting either of the parties, that is when I think it becomes toxic and a legitimate problem.

Too much love kills and the reason is shallow if the cause is toxicity of love. Love becomes toxic if jealousy is extreme.

It is toxic when the partners are living in domestic violence. one can be the death of the other person. Such love isn't needed

I chose maybe.

About 7 years ago, I was a loner. I'd been a loner for a long time and wasn't looking for love. But I met this lady and immediately feel in love with her. We started dating within a few months of knowing each other.

Now we're married.

In all honestly, I don't see a future where I'm not with her every day.

But we both do have a few hobbies we like doing with others or solo, and that's fine.

But our love is pretty strong and we both cherish that.

Wow, that is a very impressive experience about love. Love is indeed mysterious and not all love is toxic and treacherous.

I believe that too much love can be toxic. It's essential to give your partner the freedom to enjoy their life and pursue their favorite hobbies. If you don't allow them that space, it can make them feel trapped, like a prisoner. LOL

Too much love could be suffocating it's a sign of possessing your rights to have a space of your own. One is deprived of freedom and for me it's insanely crazy to be controlled.

For some, it works; for some, it doesn't.

I almost missed my opportunity for love and I'm glad I didn't because it's been the best thing I've felt in a long time.

Indeed love is beautiful. There's always reason why wake up the next day and the reason why willing to sacrifice in the name of love.

When the love is too much, that your partner becomes so clingy and might not even let you move a inch without him or her. That's toxic to start with. And too much love breeds insecurity at the peak level. I don't crave for too much love.

Yes speaking from experience not everyone can actually deal with being love too much, at the end of the day they become uncomfortable due to being loved too much cause its something they are not used to.

Yes, too much love can be toxic when it becomes controlling, overwhelming, or suffocating. I believe love should be balanced, allowing space for individuality. Obsession, dependency, or constant validation-seeking can harm relationships, making love feel more like a burden than a source of happiness.

Toxic love is deadly and no one can endure such kind of relationship.

I can't deal with anyone who is being toxic to me. What exactly would make you want to own me? I mean that there is a need for boundaries when it comes to loving me, and that should be respected at all times.

Too much of everything is bad and love is not an exception to this assessment. Everything should be done in a way that it is not going to be over choking for your partner.
