Is this picture boring?

What kind of lens should I get?

I have tripod but it doesn't work to good with slr's haha, maybe if my lens wasn't gigantic

if it was the kit lens that got damaged you could probably replace that dirt cheap on ebay...what size was it anyway?

you could probably get a reasonable tripod on ebay too,you dont need a top of the range one, just a cheap alloy one thats light to carry if you're on a trek

If I'm going to buy a lens I might as well buy a good one instead of using it for a few months, and deciding I want a better one. Don't they have good 35 mm lenses for around 125$?

ya, it's a good idea to buy a smaller lighter one for my backpacking trip up to north cascades park, I'll already be carrying like 40 lbs without my camera stuff :D

on sale, ya:nod:...keep an eye out for them:thumbup

I'm actually going to order that right now. The lens is actually 200$ swear it was like 125-150$ last time I went to the store I get my stuff from.... Oh well, I still have enough. Damn this trip is adding up, 200$ for the plane, 200$ for the lens, 100$ for the external flash, and ten whole dollars for the tripod :willy_nilly: 500$ haha good thing the actual trip part is free. 11 free days of fun in the snow and ice :p
