AMD doesn't have the same advertising as Intel. Ex; Intel Pentium 4 2.8 (runs a 2.80 clock speed) and AMD Athlon 2000+ (doesn't a run 2.0 clock speed, but does 1.67GHz)
AMD just names there chips that.
Athlon XP 2000+ operates at 1.67 GHz
Athlon XP 1900+ operates at 1.60 GHz
Athlon XP 1800+ operates at 1.53 GHz
Athlon XP 1700+ operates at 1.47 GHz
Athlon XP 1600+ operates at 1.40 GHz
Athlon XP 1500+ operates at 1.33 GHz
