Didn't you know what a 'Lush' was over here then? If we say something is lush, it means something is delicious.

If you drink excessively, then over here it's just called a drunkard or a drunk, or an alcoholic. Alcoholic being the point of no return.

We have cider, and it is made form apples .. but it isn't alcholic. I still like it though.

Cider comes originally from the celts, that's why it comes from the UK, Spain and France. Here we have some special restaurants where you can drink as much cider as you want! But I must admit (against my nacionalist belives) the best cider I ever drank is still the one I tried in the English pub!
