I'm fairly sure what you have is one of the Coreopsis variety plants. It's also known as Tickseed.

I googled that, Guyzerr. They are all starting to look alike to me at this point. I've yet to see one with the straw hat look though, like the one I've got here.

A weed is only a plant growing where you dont want it too. A flower and a weed can be one and the same thing.

OK it's a very tall, pretty, flowery weed!! I'd go with dandlon family, but it is very tall.
