Even though I am an avid reader and work as a freelance writer, I never read poetry. In fact, I don't think I have read any poetry since I was at school. Does anyone here actually read poetry anymore?

Every now and then I read poetry. Usually to get away and steal some alone time for myself. As a songwriter I read poetry when I'm in a writing slump. I do so hoping to spark some creativity and it usually works.

I am an avid reader and do write online but never really got into poetry. I have read a few poems on a site I work on but other than that, I'm not really into it.

I used to read and also compose poems. I don't read as much as I used to, the last poetry book I read was a few months ago and it was a Haiku collection. However, I stopped writing poetry a long time ago. Poetry reading is outdated pass time.
