Movies, music, and art are increasingly driven by revenue and sponsorship. Does commercialization limit creativity, or is it a necessary model to sustain content production? Can artistic integrity survive in a profit-driven pop culture landscape?

I think roots of pop culture lie in commercialization, pop culture is the market response of arts. When arts is used for the purpose of making money, rather than touching human sensibilities, it becomes pop culture.
