That's called quote mining with little to no regard to context.
Radical fundamentalists ( of the Christian persuasion do it ) are expert at it in regards to evolution and science.
The 911 crowd, Loose Change, was adept at the video presentation of quote mining in regards to the supposed US government's involvement in 911.
Many bloggers from Kos to moonbattery are adept at quote mining.
Even supposed news outlets like NewsMax frequently embrace it.

Is Obama a Muslim? Probably not or someone would have posted his actual involvement in worshiping the Islamic religion by now.

However.......
I won't be voting for him if that worries you :D

I don't quite understand the whole "Obama is a Muslim" thing ...

Like Ryder said, "Who cares?"

Would it really be that bad if Obama did practice the Islamic faith or is this based on the idea that "all Muslims are evil" sort of thing ....

Living in part of the Bible Belt....Ohio....it's noticeable....it makes a difference to fundamentalists.
After 911, quite a number of hate pamphlets began floating around that were anti-muslim.
If someone brings up the topic of Islam/Muslims at a public gathering.....like auctions (I attend them frequently ) ....you can see people getting pissed off. Pentecostals especially.....

Wow ... it always amazes me ...

At the very least though, we can get some humor from it ...

As an aside... Ohio isn't part of the Bible Belt.

Ohio isn't part of the Bible Belt.
As far as the state goes, more like on the edge of it, true.
Technically, the Ohio River is considered the border.....but with the increase of fundamentalism the last several decades.....the make up has changed quite a bit on the north side of the Ohio R.
The southern counties are quite fundamentalist.
Cincinnati not so much but very conservative, but east of Cincy to Portsmouth to Marietta quite so.
Go northeast to the Alliance/Canton area and you get into Amish territory...very religious, but nicer people :D

saying all of Islam hates America is like saying America hates all Islam, neither statement is true. I can see the difference in "some islamic people hate america" and "all islamic people hate america" totally different things, being islamic does not mean the person automatically hates america. simple.

actually i have a great analogy

Saying the islamic people who are terrorists represent all of islam is like saying all christians are psychos who bomb abortion clinics.

and last time I checked I hadn't blown up any abortion clinic *shrug*

Islam rejects all other religions.
America has freedom of religion..thus a great conflict.
A Muslims first duty is to Islam regardless
Thus a Muslim is an unfit president.

Whether he is a terrorist or not is irrelevant.
Mosques openly bash America and promote violence in their literature.
Therefore...guilty by association

Meh, not going to bother with the back and forth. my opinion stands.

Islam is not your run of the mill religion
Technically one could worship a pine tree if he wished and call it a prophet as some guy pissed on it.
Who or what they worship is not the issue...the teachings in regard to the rest of society {infidels} is what is the problem
For the Muslim it is proper to steal hurt kill non Islams..lying is permitted as well...For if you are not a Muslim..you are an enemy.
Now all of this changes if it is "Muslim to Muslim" punishments are often death amputations etc...if you say steal from another Muslim.
Other religions instruct you to not steal regardless of who they are or what religion they belong to.

In laymen s terms it is not against the religion to be violent with other religions it is actually encouraged as just as we are encouraged to have fund raisers etc for the starving.

Islam is only one thing...the self preservation of Islam...The Kuran is about war and gains through war....spreading the faith is not done from knocking door to door but rather impersonated social interactions with the enemy.
