Some argue love is an emotional decision, while others believe it’s just biological attraction and hormones. If love is purely chemistry, does that undermine the idea of commitment? Do you think people can consciously choose who they love?

Love is definitely a choice. The one we call chemistry is just infatuation. I always tell people that love is beyond that tingling feeling. It is a decision to be committed to a person. Basing love on that chemistry won't ever be solid.

The romantic notion of love as a choice suggests that individuals have choice in selecting their partners, nurturing relationships, and sustaining affection over time.

I believe love is a mix of both. Chemistry sparks attraction, but love grows through choice, commitment, and effort. Over time, it’s the decision to nurture and prioritize the relationship that strengthens the bond.

A combination of both, there has to be chemistry for love to occur and in turn you must decide if that love will really be a benefit in your life or something that will harm you, that is why you have to think wisely before choosing our co-pilot and life partner.

I think love is more of a emotional decision. If you are emotionally connected, there is love. However, for love to flourish you also need to be financially secure as you cannot be in love when there is lack of money to live a comfortable life.

Love is an emotional choice but if there is no love chemistry between the two lovers, they will certainly decide to end their relationships, Love and chemistry must go together.
