Is it just me or..

I occasionally have my FB chat on, but when it gets to where people I haven't talked to in forever try to talk to me like we just hung out and it's constant, I turn it off for a few days.

I only recently downloaded AIM on my new computer and there's maybe two or three people on, so I took it off. Not worth it to have AOL crap on my computer.

There are people that pounce as soon as you sign in on ANY messenger and then they'll keep you tied up for 30 minutes talking about nothing until you figure out an excuse to sign off. Yeah, I've got my chat thing turned off on Facebook as well. I don't really like chatting on there.
 
I text a lot more than I instant message anyone. I have my AIM linked to my phone, because my best friend lives in England and that's the free way for us to communicate fast when necessary. Other than him, there are very few people I chat with. I find it easier just to text the people I need to talk to.
 
I always have the same few people on, mine never gets busy because I only keep people I know on there, randoms usually get blocked/deleted.
I use mine at least once a night, but I don't talk to many people. Maximum in an average night is about 2, maybe 3 if I'm super lucky. It is pretty boring though, I always appear offline or block people if I don't feel like talking :p
