Constant productivity is often promoted as success, but it can lead to burnout and stress. Is hustle culture motivating or damaging? How should people define success in a healthier way?

Hustle culture is actually harmful to the long term wellbeing. That's because you either end up working more hours or you might not be able to always make enough money to pay your bills. There is no financial security.

Hustle culture can be harmful when it normalizes constant work, rest guilt, and tying self-worth to productivity. Over time, that leads to burnout, anxiety, poor sleep, and strained relationships. It can also reduce creativity and decision quality.
