Is going to a strip club cheating?

Well.....HERE the strip club is also the brothel, so .....yeah...that argument is strictly geographical.

So then its not a strip club, its a brothel. I've been to Australia and I know prostitution is legal there but I also know that strip clubs and brothels there are two seperate businesses there too. I think you are slightly confused.

HERE...where I live....it (IT being singular, we have ONE) doubles as both. In Sydney, the Gold coast and other capital or bigger cities you do have both....but not here.

I've been to strip clubs in the Cross years ago.....never to a brothel, but I DO know the difference.

I don't think going to a strip club is cheating. I also don't think looking at porn is cheating. If both those are cheating in someone's mind, then perhaps drooling over some hot celeb is also cheating on the girl's part.

in the usa there are brothels but I know for a fact in my area you won't find them in the local strip club. In fact yesterday on local Fox news 2 brothels were brought down...and they were just homes on a city block in philadelphia, no where near a strip club.

local strip clubs here, if you are doing anything on the side, you better hope that the 'clean girls' don't find out b/c they'll make your time a living hell at the club until you're fired or leave.

I have a mate who once told me something very funny about his trip to a strip ckub...

He was there with a group of friends celebrating a birthday, however, all agreed that the experience was greatly overrated, i.e, non too exciting. If you get my drift. Which is understandable I think.
Anyway, to spice things up and get some excitment brewing, he imagined that the girl was dancing to pay for her grandfather's nursing home. "I'm doing this for you, gramps." she would say with tears rolling down her cheeks.

Of course, even with this sort of fanciful imagination he still doesn't recommend it. So as an answer to the original question, if it is cheating, it's mighty crap.

You would be incorrect Sir Peter! I live in New Zealand ( which is the same as Australia is most ways). Prostitution is legal, and we do have strip clubs that a seperate from brothels, but it is not uncommon for a brothel to contain a strip club. One of our local whorehouses has a seperate pay-entry area, where you can go and drink and watch strippers, and if you want you can buy their time and pretty much do whatever you want with them. I've known a few whores and I can tell you this isn't unusal. Most of the strippers in New Zealand are pretty easy going and will put out for a little extra cash if she thinks your good enough.

That would completely depend on your partner's view on the matter. If he/she thinks it's cheating, then I'd have to advise you not to go.

Because that's just gonna cause drama and drama's never good.

I don't really think it would be cheating. My only concern would how often they went. If it was just a night out with friends every once in a while, sure. But if I found they would want to go to the strip club rather than spending time with me or being intimate together, then I would be concerned.
