Abuse no longer requires physical proximity. Constant access through devices creates nonstop exposure. Society still struggles to recognize this as real harm. Should digital abuse be treated the same as offline abuse? How do we shift public understanding?

Abuse was basically though about something that was physical, but digital violence creates mental and emotional abuse. Digital violence has certainly redefined abuse.

I believe digital abuse should be treated as seriously as physical abuse. Its impact is real, persistent, and often invisible. Shifting understanding requires education, clear laws, and public discussion that highlights emotional and psychological harm, showing that proximity doesn’t determine severity.
