Irritability

Is it normal to be irritable all the time? I'm considering seeing a psychologist because for so long now, I've been so irritable about every possible thing under the sun. One little tiny piece of shit annoys me and I swear at it like there's no tomorrow, things like scratching an itch (then again, I do get itchy A LOT cause I have crap skin), kicking my toe, my hair flying into my face from the wind, tripping over something, just over any stupid things I do that could have been avoided.
I wouldn't mind taking some vitamins I found that help with moodiness but it has St. John's wort crap in it so I can't take it (I'm on the pill too).
I'm just sick of feeling this way, I know I am perfectly happy with everything in my life right now, it's just getting worked up over shit I shouldn't get worked up over is just stupid. It's not worth anger management classes, but it's not something I can just ignore.
It's destructive, it makes me moody too, and it makes me feel like I'm one of those people who is always negative. Maybe there's truth in that but I don't want to be one of those people.
And if anyone tells me to take a deep breath and count to ten, that is just asking for it.

So, should I see someone maybe?

I do it too.

I think you need to figure out the root and try to sort that out, and it should help. I finally untangled mine and it's made a huge difference in how irritable and snappy I am. I know you exercise, so maybe find something a little more aggressive than treadmill, like boxing. I always wanted a punching bag in our garage.

Rampage number 5 fucking gazillion: broken light, slamming doors and yelling and screaming...all over my fucking heap of shit hair that won't straighten properly!!!

It's not really the straightness I guess, it's just the way my hair sits, it curls down to the front, and my hair is like a bob where the hair gets slightly longer as you go from the back towards the front. So my hair sorts of curls down to the front and flicks out like a retard, instead of the hair just being straight down.

I'm pretty sure I used them properly though.

I'll give it a go, it's quite frustrating cause the straightener gets pretty hot even on the second lowest setting, I often burn my fingers or hair or shoulder or something lol. But hotter it shall go!

The less passes over the hair, the better, if you have to go over an area repeatedly you damage the hair follicles more. Hair should also be completely dry before using the straightener.

If you don't have some sort of chemical/heat protection spray, it is a great investment. :)

... were you using the hair product/implements properly?

Not being a smart ass, I work in a spa/salon, lots of people don’t or just have cheap/crappy tools and end up frying/breaking the hair.
 You can never go wrong with quality equipment. There are so many different products for hair out there. When I was in the market for a good straightener I asked my hair stylist to recommend one. It's good to ask the people that know. :D
