I am an introvert. I like being alone and I have a hard time being in a room full of people. I like the quietness of solitude, but I don't often get to have it. I know I have to interact with people, but I would rather be alone.

Introvert is the way to go. We tend to be much smarter and have the ability to think things through and process our thoughts before people get to know. I was reading a book on it and i guess the underlying factor was that it doesnt make you a better or worse human. We just all have our differences.

I'm a rather introverted person, I would say. Being in public places and having to socialize, especially with multiple people, is actually physically draining for me. I usually have to spend at least a day alone in order to recuperate, and once I've had my peace and quiet, I fair much better against the outside world. All of this is also coupled with a social anxiety disorder I've had since I was a child, but I've learned to hide it surprisingly well. Most people don't realize that I'm nearly petrified when I first meet them. :eek

But I do okay this way, I guess. I just like my alone-time.
