the geneva convention is there for a very good reason,but in the present climate in the middle east it'll never be adhered to 100%...a few examples are the young woman american soldier that was captured,the one who had 2 broken legs...she was gang raped by her captors....or the civilian contractors who are mercilessly beheaded for the heinous crime of trying to rebuild the country of their captors.

the problem here is that the coalition is trying to be whiter than white,while the enemy does as it pleases...if these soldiers are tried for war crimes the coalition may as well throw away the guns and come home,they'll be in an impossible position

There are RULES for the military and their actions cannot be compared with the
ignoble acts of the criminals otherwise it would be like advocating ''Hitlerism''..

the occupation of afghanistan or iraq is nothing like hitlerism,and things would have to decline drastically for it to get anywhere near to it

Geneva convention bars maltreatment to prisoners....
If you do not comply with the rules you would be trying to step into the shoes of a
dictator, to more or less extent. You cannot justify killing of innocents
even if it is on a smaller scale..

BTW plz tell me what is the purpose of coalition in warring in Iraq and Afghanistan for
the last about 10 years??? What has the coalition gained from it?? What it intends to
gain further?? What are the grievances of the terrorists against the US and why??
Why isn\t the world community interested to resolve it?? Why are those countries out of the
coalition 'game' if the war was so important for world peace?? Why other than Arabs are being
attacked when you know Arabs were responsible for 9/11??
