Got my vid card working, got my desktop all setup and now Everything seems to be working. Just need to get my guru brother to help me resize the desktop to fit this screen.

Enjoy, and realize that yeah I need to clean up the wiring now.

get it right then sort the wiring out,pointless doing it all tidy then having to rip it back out again

Hmm, not bad. Probably should get some floor wax. :D

The resolution is where that hell of a distortion can be fixed. Right-click in an empty area on the desktop, select Properties. Click on the Settings tab. If you know it is wide-screen, then get a wide-screen resolution (16:9) or if full-screen (4:3) or close to it (5:4). As long as it looks good, you should be fine.

Question: What model on the Panasonic?

resolution doesn't fix it. I need my brother to come over and show me what does. It takes more than the monitor properties to get it to center correctly.

Ah, the left/right and up/down stuff; god, i thought that crap went away with crt's... :willy_nilly:

Wait, nevermind, the samsung i just had had the auto feature that realigned that crap.

TOJ - you did not tell me the model number.. ;)
