no thats a router... technically... most are just "routers" the one i have (expensive) is both a modem and a router... most people have both. i figured why buy both for more money when i can just buy this one... lolIs that a modem? If not then I do not have one!

I'm pretty used to it really. When I go to another's house with high speed access.... that's when I really understand how slow it is.i feel bad that you have to deal with that Speed. if i had to go from Cable internet to Dial up i would throw my computer against the wall

Get what you pay for, right?yeah i know what you mean. my aunt lives near the mountain area in Pa and lives in the middle of no where and she has AOL Dial up. if i use her cpu i cant stand it. back in the day when my mom switched from Dial up to DSL i was blown away. and would never want to go back to Dial up. if i had to have Dial up i wouldnt have the internet
