Is that a modem? If not then I do not have one!
no thats a router... technically... most are just "routers" the one i have (expensive) is both a modem and a router... most people have both. i figured why buy both for more money when i can just buy this one... lol

isnt that expensive? i looked at that with verizon, its def not cheap...

Mine isn't bad. No more expensive than dsl or cable really. Depending on who ya compare to anyways. But mine isn't through verizon it's through a company testing in our area so they have pretty good rates.

I'm pretty used to it really. When I go to another's house with high speed access.... that's when I really understand how slow it is.

Could you go satellite?

Once I win the lottery.... you bet I will! :D
Seriously, I have to deal with other expenses and that would be a luxury right now. Luxury items are on the back burner. :( *sigh*

I have Netscape. $6.95/mo. Get what you pay for, right? :D

All kidding aside.... I just can't view most picture attachments, videos, etc. But I can email and IM and chat in forums until the cows come home. And yes... there are cows within 1/2 a mile from my home. Just sayin'.... ;)
